Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on the 24th of April, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. As of 2002, she won the American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas) which is a suburb close to Fort Worth. Her vocal talent was recognized at seven years of age by the teacher who taught choir at her school. Upon finishing high school, Clarkson relocated in Los Angeles, where she was unsuccessful in her attempt to enter the show business. In 2002, after returning to Texas Clarkson was an contestant in the inaugural season of the American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Company. American Idol, a singing contest that let viewers vote for their favourite performer. Clarkson was well-liked by viewers due to her captivating voice and funny sense of humor. Her prize to win the competition was $1 million plus a recording contract with RCA.
