Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed in the grass inspired her to spend months developing an approach that does not, however, paint the selected object onto canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a reproduction of itself, where the surface is the vehicle for its personal interpretation by painting, particularly when the subjects are alive or perishable for example, like humans or fruits. The style that Alexa paints is ephemeral and only the photos of her work remain. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated that the end result is nothing but a two-dimensional flat space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension can only be seen within certain places like near the eyes, or near hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models into the environment around them. It allows them to be part of the world that she created. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting installation and performance.
