Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian artist and singer. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. Her music is classified as folk-rock and alternative rock although it also has influence from hip hop and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement being one of the first artists to create her own label 1990.
